From 1981 to 2004

Design and development of one of the first fully featured permaculture farms in New Zealand in the Nelson region. Pioneered olive production in the Nelson area.

2006

Researched and invented and brought to market

the first commercial product

incorporating bio-char carbon. It is a complete organic fertilizer solution that will maintain soil fertility for hundreds of years

without further input given an active management

of the nitrogen and phosphate nutrient cycles.

Inception and permaculture design, successful project management through planning, local body consent process and first stage implementation of a complete settlement of

60 households set in 120ha of permaculture landscape.

Design and implementation of a number of outstanding

edible garden landscapes from suburban gardens to

life style properties of several ha.
