Conceptualised, developed and coded one of the first interactive screen painter and form design tools for the Apple II as part of a retail system application for a German department store chain running on the then revolutionary Apple II in BASIC.

As programming division manager and lead developer for Financial Systems Ltd, now OneNet implemented one of the first commercial fourth generation Software Development code generating frameworks. The Auckland, NZ based systems integration company operated out of a cluster of stylishly restored Victorian villas. The Softscript System did not require any coding to produce complete and fully featured desktop applications with SQL backends with all code for DB generation, user interface and report outputs automatically generated in object PASCAL and SQL.

The software was successfully sold as a retail product in New Zealand and marketed to European distributors who on-sold it in conjunction with the SQL database backend product.

As founder and managing director of BIO Paints Ltd researched and developed several innovative, chemical free surface coat finishing products based on entirely natural and non toxic materials including wall sealers, natural oil blends, paints and timber finishes.

As lead developer of Software Edition Limited designed a futuristic interactive touch terminal to provide up-to-date financial information and investment suggestions based on user choices. This involved physical workstation design, audio visual, graphic, movie media production, software development for online price updates and for the terminal and the premise automation. The unattended but monitored premises operated successfully for a number of years as a retail operation.

Conceptual development of a universal methodology rigorously based on PRINCE2 principles to guide professional landscape designers through the process of designing fully featured permaculture projects. Project manager and executive and permaculture advisor for the 'Guide of to the design + implementation of permaculture properties' commissioned to London based landscape architect Paul Smith.
